Day: 24 September 2018

Sing aloud of His mercy

Sing aloud of His mercy in the morning.

But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

Psalms 59:16 NKJV.

Greetings in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

It is more evident from the verse, that the Psalmist starts the day glorifying God. The Bible says that God himself gave testimony of King David. According to the scriptures (Acts 13:22), David is a man after God’s own heart, who will do all His will.

Truly, the perfect way to start the day is spending time with God. Praise God for who He is. Give glory to Him for what He does. Thank Him for His eternal love. For He alone is worthy to recieve all the praises and honour. Therefore, sing of His power and sing aloud of His mercies. We exist because of His continued grace and mercy over us. Moreover, He is our defense and refuge in times of trouble.

King David, throughout his life put God first. In all things, he depended on God. David was anointed as the King of Israel at a very tender age. But he had to endure many troubles from King Saul. He was constantly on run till Saul reigned. Even during those stressful times also He kept his sight on God. God didn’t spare David when he committed sin with Bethsheba. Although David repented, but he had to undergo the troubles. But God was with David all throughout his life and blessed him immensely.

Finally brethren, life is not always a bed of roses but also thorns and prickles. Always praise God and sing aloud of His mercies. For He endures forever. In Jesus matchless name. Amen.
