Obey Me Fully

Obey Me fully and keep My covenant!

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,

Beloved in Christ, warm wishes and greetings!

By walking in obedience to the Living God we reap His wonderful and abundant blessings. As the above subject verse (Exodus 19:5) clearly reveals us this divine and wonderful act of God. He takes us as His treasured possession. How lovely and blessed are those who become His treasured children. Certainly, the omnipotent God requires us to be fully obedient rather than be an intermittent one. By the way, our obedience is a full-time commitment to God to bring glory to His name. Moreover, there is no such thing as partial-obedience and even if it exists, then it is pure disobedience.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord , who walk in obedience to him.

Psalm 128:1 NIV

The way of obedience to God maynot be a cakewalk, but it is surely a way of glorifying the Living God. Throughout the Bible, those who walked obediently to God had their share of difficulties and troubles too. But they could overcome through faith in the Lord, our God. Surely, the lives of Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Daniel and others tell what it takes to be obedient. My beloved, we by our strength cannot be like those Men of the Bible. Take heart, for we have our Lord Jesus, who is our source of strength, patience and perseverance. Therefore walk in obedience to our Lord, doing what He has commanded us to do. For in that obedience, we also have a long life and prosperity.

Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

Deuteronomy 5:33 NIV

Finally, in Jesus’ matchless name, let us keep His covenant and live in obedience to the Almighty God. Amen.
