Eternal Life is in God’s Son

The Eternal life is in God’s Son.

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Beloved brothers and sisters, exalt the name of our Lord to the highest. I am extremely happy and delighted. For the subject verse comes with the message of assured eternal life to all. This verse gives us a strong confidence with respect to the eternal life. For the verse itself is a testimony that God has given to us. Jesus, the begotten Son of God is the eternal life for the humanity. Yes, the Heavenly Father has made it clear that whosoever has the Son, shall live to the eternity with Him. Surely, as the following verse says, in Jesus alone we have the life.

‘In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. ‘

John 1:4

Jesus the most precious gift of God

Brethren, in these days of New Age and polished Neo-religions, the message of salvation is twisted and projected to suit their needs. In fact, the world is spiritually blinded. These modern theologies mislead the people to eternal damnation. Some say, doing good things will fetch them a place in heaven. The Bible says that salvation is a free gift of God. Most importantly, this free gift of God cost him the life of His own Son. It is not something that anybody can earn by their good deeds or works. Moreover, it is written, there is no one who is good and everyone is a sinner and the wages of sin is death. As the Bible says, the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life in his Son Jesus.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23 NIV

Therefore brethren, the free gift of God is available to all. As any gift can never become a gift until accepted by the receiver; the same is of this salvation. From all the above, it is evident that the gift of salvation requires acceptance of Jesus as our Savior and Lord. My beloved, today is the day and now is the time to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. For He alone is the way, the truth and the life. Amen.
