The Judge of All
Jesus is the judge of all – the living and the dead.
And he ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the one appointed by God to be the judge of all—the living and the dead.
Acts of the Apostles 10:42 NLT
All the glory and praises be to the Heavenly Father in the wondrous name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Beloved brothers and sisters, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The subject verse from the Acts of the Apostles advocates us to preach everywhere. This is like the great commission which Jesus gave to his disciples on the mountain of Galilee. Jesus made a strong point in saying that all the authority in heaven and on earth is given to him. Yes, the Son of God is given the authority to judge both the living and the dead.
‘Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ‘
Matthew 28:18-19
Most importantly, the great judgement shall happen when He comes the second time. All the living and those who are dead shall stand before his judgement seat. Everyone shall be made accountable to all the things they do in their lifetimes. Furthermore, God shall pronounce his judgement accordingly.
‘For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.’
2 Corinthians 5:10
Therefore brethren, let us not fear the sicknesses or the diseases, nor fear the world or its people. But fear the One who has the power to give us either life to the eternity or send us to the eternal condemnation. If not yet saved, brethren straightaway repent and seek His divine forgiveness. Give your heart and spirit to Jesus and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus matchless name be saved. Amen.
