Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Warm wishes and loving greetings in His matchless name!

Trust in the Lord! This short sentence is immensely powerful and does wonders who are true to it. The lives of Joseph and Daniel are true inspiration for us. For they literally lived and proved to the world. Joseph trusted God more than anybody else. Even though he had all the chances to forget and leave God; he held onto the Living God throughout the difficult periods and circumstances. In the same way, Daniel trusted God above all, even while living in a foreign land with a hostile king and his equally hostile rule.

Throughout their lifetimes, both Joseph and Daniel trusted God with all of their hearts. Most importantly, it is very clear from the Scriptures that they never relied upon their own understanding or knowledge. They absolutely surrendered themselves to the Lord and sought his guidance and counsel in all things. Therefore, God blessed them immensely and even those people who were with them acknowledged the presence of the Almighty God with them.

The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did,

Genesis 39:2-3

Both Joseph and Daniel had their share of worst times and difficulties. But their problems could not distract or deviate their faith and trust in God. The all Sovereign God made their paths straight. No matter what their adversaries tried against them, nothing uprooted their faith and trust in God. Therefore brethren, it is upto us how we trust God in all things and bring glory to His mighty name. Submit to our Lord Jesus and cast all your burdens on Him. For He makes our paths straight and lift us up from the misery of the world. In Jesus’ precious name all the glory be to God. Amen.
