All the glory and majesty is the Lord’s forever and ever!

The subject verse is from Paul’s first epistle to the Thessalonians. The verse calls on us to be thankful to the Almighty God in all circumstances. Yes, we are to thank Him in all circumstances, either good or bad. And I believe that we do this with a great degree of abidance, since it deals with the will of the Almighty God.

It is easy for all of us to give thanks in the times of happiness. But in those testing times it indeed becomes tough to thank and glorify the Living God. Take heart, for Lord Jesus is the way. His life itself provides us all the answers. He being the very Son of God, had to go through great pain and persecution. But He always set His sight upon the Holy Father. So do not be worried about anything. As the following verse says, with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to the Omnipotent God. So that the peace of God shall be with us in the midst of every trial or tribulation.

‘Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’

Philippians 4:6-7

By His Grace

The subject verse is very clear that we do this as we belong to Lord Jesus Christ. Yes, every child of God shall not depend upon His own strength. But look up on Him who is able to deliver. Moreover, they do every work in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Holy Father. Which is absolutely what the Holy Scriptures asks us to do in Jesus’ name. Dear brethren, even in our weaknesses or powerlessness, we shall depend on the Living God. Yes, for the Almighty has given us the assurance of His divine presence. As the following verse says, His grace is sufficient for us, no matter what the problem or weakness is.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV

Therefore brethren, let us give thanks to the Almighty God in all circumstances; in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
