Walk by faith
We walk by faith.
We walk by faith, not by sight.
Loving greetings in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
The above verse (2 Corinthians 5:7) makes a very strong statement to the listeners. Out of many things, it definitely conveys some clear-cut characteristics of the person(s) making the statement. It tells about their faith. The faith is not of wrong beliefs, but of God. The trust in God is strongly evident when faith is chosen over sight.
Both sight and faith are received from God. Sight enable us to see the physical world whereas the faith enables us to access things of the spiritual world of God. Sometimes the things we see might be wrong, for they maybe an illusion. Remember, all things that we see may not be true always, for we only see things that are above. But by the strength of our faith, we can see many things starting in the spiritual realm and finally culminating in our physical world. Yes, all these by faith alone. More importantly walking in faith relates to our godly living. The path we choose determines our eternity: either with God or without God. The path is clear for those who live in Jesus.
As Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6 ESV). Yes, Jesus is the only way to the Holy Kingdom. Truly, there are many broader ways but they all lead to the eternal condemnation. Finallly bretheren, choice is absolutely ours to choose. Those who walk by faith always have Jesus with them. And through Jesus alone the gift of eternity to live with God. Amen.
