The Lord will Command the Blessing
The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand.
“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ’s precious name !
The said promise of the Almighty God from the Book of Deuteronomy is not a casual one. But it is the command of the Omnipotent God. Truly, if God commands a blessing upon us, who can deter us to forgo. As the Bible says, no man can stop what God has set in motion. Neither could a person move what God has stopped. If God has set the flow of blessings upon us, no one can ever put a stop. In the same way, if God has put a shield around us, no trials and tribulations will have any effect over our lives. From the following verse it is clear that what He has set in motion shall always come to pass.
… Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.’
Isaiah 46:11
Heed to His voice
Praises be to the Living God, for His blessings shall always come to pass. Moreover, not only our storehouses shall be blessed, but also everything that we undertake shall prosper. And coming to the last part of the promise, nothing is impossible to God. Although, everything that was said above is God’s favor on Israel, but it is also for everyone who does what He commands. Though we may not own a land of the size of Israel, but shall be blessed in the land where we are. Yes, the promised blessings is for all who diligently hear His voice and do as commanded.
Finally brethren, where do we stand now? Are we aptly positioned to receive all the above said blessings? Are we always obedient to His commands? If not, let us correct ourselves and turn to the Almighty God. Repent and seek forgiveness in Jesus’ mighty name. Be washed in the shed blood of Lord Jesus Christ to receive His eternal grace and mercy.
In Jesus’ matchless name, Amen.
