Praise the Lord! Warm wishes and greetings to all.

Children are the God’s gift to the parents. Most importantly for some parents, their whole lives revolve around their children. For the christian parents, they may be everything after God especially if the kids are small. Even for some, their children might be the main concern if they are not in the right path. Every parent whether christian or non-christian, would want their children to be raised in a way, where in they would be able to live their lives happily.

As christian parents we would want our children to be led in the way according to the scriptures. As the Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness“. Rather than all those self-help books, the God-breathed scripture is all what we need to apply in our lives. So what more could we ask for our children? These very scriptures (the Bible) should be used to teach and train our children. This is not anything that can be done one time. It is a learning process as we also still continue to learn what God teaches us in the course of our lives.

Scripture, Love of God and God’s will.

A strong foundation in the scriptures should be laid in our children. For example, make them understand the righteousness of God and make them pray and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Most noteworthy is to teach them what our Lord Jesus told, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27)”. Even more, submitting to our Lord in all things and glorifying His name should be the top priority for every child as it is for us also. Finally, do the will of the Heavenly Father (Hebrews 10:36) and glorify His matchless name through our Lord Jesus.

If the above said, some of the many seeds are sown into the hearts of our children, they will rightly reap. Reap the benefits of the Heaven. In Jesus matchless, may our children be blessed with all the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the living God. Amen.
