All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ’s precious name !

The subject verse from the epistle to the Ephesians wants us to understand what the Almighty wants us to do. We do all kinds of things with a specific goal or purpose. Never shall any man set out to do meaningless work unless he is insane. And never shall a godly person set out to do what is against the will of God.

Seek the will of the Heavenly Father

A true christian shall always think before he/she acts. The priority shall be whether the Lord’s wants it or not. Yes, a true child of God shall not proceed hastily, but seek the will of the Almighty God in respect of the task at hand. God’s view matters in all things. It is not the outcome of the job or work that is essential for us. But it is the will of the Almighty God that is essential. Though God may not stop us from doing our own will, but it necessarily does not mean that we obeyed Him. Being obedient to the Living God shall require us to seek His will in all of our works.

Do everything in Jesus’ precious name

Therefore brethren, let us not do anything thoughtlessly. But before proceeding to doing anything, let us get on to our knees and pray seeking the will of the Heavenly Father. With the guidance and revelation of the Holy Spirit, we shall either proceed or abandon the job. When it is certainly the God’s will, then we shall persevere in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the following verse says, we shall endure to do the will of the Living God and receive what He has promised to give.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Hebrews 10:36 NKJV

Finally, rather than holding on to our own mental reasoning or intuition, we shall fully submit to the Lord’s divine control over all the things. For the Almighty God shall ensure our success in all our jobs initiated in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
