Blessed brothers and sisters in Christ, warm wishes and hearty greetings in the precious and lovely name of our Lord Jesus!

The world has a cliched view of money. Though it professes that money is bad, but it has a natural liking for money and wealth. The subject verse (Hebrews 13:5) clearly warns us to keep our lives free from the love of money. Moreover, we are to be content with what we have. But it seems the most difficult thing to do. But naturally, the fallen state of our minds long and lusts for those things that are against the spirit. The Bible says, love for money is the root cause of all evil according to the following verse.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1 Timothy 6:10 NIV

Beloved, if we love God more than the money, wouldn’t we be content with what we have and be blessed? Of course, we shall be blessed to the fullest; for God said that, He neither shall leave us nor forsake us according to the subject verse. And those who are fond of money more than anybody/anything else shall surely be not satisfied with their earnings.

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV

Finally brethren, it is not by our own strength that we can hold on to, but in the strength of the Holy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus. Our Savior and Lord enables us with his strength to be content with what we have. Moreover let us also lead others to the Lord by being examples for the glory of the Almighty God. In Jesus’ matchless and mighty name, let us love God first and the most. And let us be free from the love of the money. Amen.
