The Lord Rises Upon You

The Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

Praises and honor be to the Awesome Almighty Heavenly Father in the marvelous name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Greetings and warm wishes to you all, the blessed children of God. As the subject verse says, the earth is indeed covered by darkness. This is not to be taken as in the physical realm, but in the spiritual realms. The one who is ruling the world has covered the earth with darkness. Not only the shroud of darkness covers the earth, but also the people are covered by darkness of greater thickness. This darkness signifies the dark sinful lives of the people of this world. This could be the direct result of idolatry, paganism, lust & sexual immorality, false teachings & false doctrines, prideful & arrogant lifestyles with hatred and committing things which are abominations, iniquities and transgressions in the sight of God.

Jesus is the Light

But the Living God, who is the light is always risen over his children. Even when his children are surrounded by thick clouds of darkness; His light pierces through the darkness and lightens them. Like the Israelites in Goshen, God’s children will always be under his divine light. No matter how thick is the darkness in this world, streams of powerful light will always be over us. Our Lord Jesus, manifested as the pillar of light for the Israelites in their wilderness. In the same way, the glory of the God shall manifest over his children who walk and talk the way of the Lord.

Yes brethren, let us walk in the light and not go after the dark things that ensnares and lure who deviate from God. Rather than depending on our own strength, let us depend upon the Lord our God. Let us take shelter under the shadows of His mighty wings. Moreover, let us ask and seek God, the courage and confidence that is required to fight the devil. Surely, it is time to remind the devil of its defeat and the ultimate victory that Jesus gave us on the Calvary Cross.

Therefore, never cease to glorify the Almighty God who had given us the victory through His Begotten Son. Furthermore, proclaim this victory in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
