Walk in it

This is the way, walk in it, says the voice behind you.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Blessed be the name of the Living God!

Beloved in Christ, everybody agrees that they hear an inner voice, usually while taking some important decisions. Some call it as conscience and believe it as our inner jude of moral values and also as our natural guidance system. But for the children of Living God, that voice could be of Lord, the Holy Spirit. Wondering why I used “could be” here? Because, if we heed, even the devil speaks to mislead us. As it mislead Eve to eat the fruit which God forbade.

The above subject verse (Isaiah 30:21) talks about the voice that comes from the behind. As if it were a voice of a guide who knows the right way or a shepherd directing his sheep. As the verse says when we either turn to the right or to the left, we will hear a voice confirming the way and to walk in it. Truly, the voice we hear is of Lord, the Holy Spirit. Whom our Lord Jesus sent from the Heavenly Father to be our comforter and our advocate.

Recognise the voice

How do we recognise the voice as of Lord, the Holy Spirit? Well, Lord the Holy Spirit always confirms to what our Lord Jesus Christ has already taught to the world. Evenmore, He never contradicts what is given in the written word of God, the Bible. Very importantly, there is no evil or wickedness in the way we are ushered. As the below verse says, He will always guide us to the truth.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

John 16:13 NIV

Furthermore, If there is anything that is unbiblical, then it could be the devil at work. First and foremost, we need to ask ourselves whether we are right in the sight of God? Even more, are we walking upright? Finally beloved, seek the Heavenly Father in Jesus name to bless us the Holy Spirit. So that we always walk the right path for the glory of the Living God. Amen.
