Do not Fear

Do not fear, but be strong!

Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ! Warm wishes and season’s greetings!

The above subject verse (Isaiah 35:4) is a great affirmation of God’s presence in the lives of His children. Yes, the Living God is keen and very much interested in the lives of His children. This assurance of God to the fearful hearts is what is required the most in anyone’s life. When God is the source of strength, we will never stumble. The subject verse clearly asks us to be strong and fearless. Evenmore, this is not something that we could take it lightly. But as the below Scripture says, lets us be strong and courageous as God commands.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9 NIV

The Omnipotent God always comes to the rescue of His children. He destroys the works of our enemies. Moreover, we can be confident in Him, for it is He who fights for us. As the Psalmist testifies, the Lord always delivers him from all fears. Shouldn’t we also live a godly life and confidently be able to say something like that? And ultimately bring glory to the Living God?

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?

Psalm 118:6 NIV

Finally beloved, let us not fear for anybody or for any circumstances. As the above verse says – what can mortals do when our Lord is with us? All the glory, might and power belong to the Almighty God. In Jesus’ matchless name alone, we have the victory. Amen.
