Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, may you be blessed with peace and harmony in Jesus’ matchless name.

Blessed be the Lord, our God! For He is the omnipotent, omniscient and the omnipresent God. The above subject verse (Isaiah 65:24) gives us a lot of confidence in the living God. Certainly, it strengthens us in the way we live. Our trust and faith in Him shall be bolstered if we really dig deeper to understand the said verse. His grace and mercy towards His children is clearly visible in the said promise verse.

The first part of the verse says that He will answer us even before we call upon Him. The Living God knows what we are going through. He knows the plans of our enemies and the troubles that are setup against us. Even before we get to our knees, He would have already answered our prayers. Though it may not be visible to us but it is answered as the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous as the below verse says:

God will hear the righteous

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

1 Peter 3:12

The second part of the verse says that God hears us while we are still speaking to Him. This is absolutely wonderful to know that the Almighty God hears and answers our prayers while we are still in the process of making our petitions. We see this in the life of Daniel. It is plain and clear that God answers our prayers in His appointed time. Sometimes it gets delayed due to reasons unknown only to us. Even, it took 21 days for the God’s answer to reach Daniel. As the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted the angel coming to Daniel with the God’s answers.

12. Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

13. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. ‘ Daniel 10:12-13 https://my.bible.com/bible/111/DAN.10.12-13

Daniel 10:12-13

As the above verse (1 Peter 3:12) says, He hears the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers. Therefore, let us live a righteous life according to the living God. Let our lives always bring glory to the Almighty God in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
