All the glory, praises and honor to the God Most High.

The Almighty God is just. He can never be unjust for by essence, He is just. As the subject verse says, the Lord will give justice to his people. In fact, He had been doing so from the time immemorial. And He will continue to do so. The righteousness of God necessitates judgement for all. And He shall bring judgement on the wicked as the following verse says, righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants.

Psalms 89:14 NLT

The other important aspect of the Almighty God is compassion. Yes, because of His compassion we all are alive. Although God chastises the sinful, He shall not hold His anger for ever. As the Bible says, He is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in loving. Moreover, it is for a brief moment that He abandons His children, so that they return back to Him in repentance. Indeed the compassionate God takes His children back.

“For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back.

Isaiah 54:7 NLT

Although, humanity was thick in sin and called for God’s wrath, He chose to save us out of His rich grace, mercy and divine compassion. He chose to take upon Himself all the sins of the mankind and give His righteousness in return. Yes, He gave us His righteousness so that we may enter His Holy Kingdom rather than being condemned to Hell fire.

Brethren, Christ died on the Calvary Cross by taking the sins of the whole mankind. He atoned the humanity of its sins. And now this free gift of salvation is for all who repent of their sins, turn to God and accept the Son of God as their Lord and Savior.

Come to the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Amen.
