All the good promises that the Lord had made; all came to pass.
‘Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.’
All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name!
The subject verse is the reiteration of the divine fulfillment of God’s promises. Man may not keep all his promises, but God’s promises will always come to pass. The promises that God made to Abraham were not only fulfilled in his lifetime, but were also fulfilled in his future generations. The land of Canaan which God promised to Abraham’s seed, came to pass during Joshua’s time. Very truly, not even one word of all the good promises of God had failed. Emphatically, all the promises came to pass.
In the same way, all the promises that are in Christ shall come to pass in the lives all the children of God. Are you a child of God? If so, are you doing the will of the Heavenly Father or your own? The way we live our lives tells us what we are in God. It is for us to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit whom our Lord Jesus Christ has given to us. The third person of the Trinity, God the Holy Spirit is in us. In Jesus’ name, If we walk by the Holy Spirit of God, we shall walk in the will of the Holy Father. Then, very surely all the promises in the Lord shall come to pass in our lives.
Therefore, submit to the Lord and stay blessed in His mighty name. Amen.
