Will of the Heavenly Father

Who does the will of the Heavenly Father will enter the kingdom of heaven.

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21 ESV

Who does the will of the Heavenly Father will enter the kingdom of heaven, says the Lord.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, greetings and warm wishes in the name of the Lord.

The subject verse (Matthew 7:21) are the words of our Lord Jesus himself. They are clearly a warning and calls for deep introspection of ourselves. Jesus distinctly says that, not everybody who calls on Him, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven. Furthermore, if we read the verses ahead, Certainly, it is frightening to know that even those who worked for the Lord are not forgiven. Yes, those very people who had prophesied, driven demons and performed miracles in Jesus’ name are not pardoned. Moreover, Jesus says that He will outrightly deny His holy kingdom to those false prophets and disciples who give away themselves to sin.

Only those who does the will of the Heavenly Father

The Lord says that only those who does the will of the Heavenly Father will enter the kingdom of heaven. Even what our Lord Jesus did for the humanity is the will of the Father who is in heaven. Yes, all the things that Jesus did on the earth where according to the will of the Almighty Father. Moreover, He did all things that were said about Him and fulfilled the Scriptures. Most importantly He finished the ultimate task of giving Himself as a Sacrificial Lamb for the atonement of our sins. It is important to realize that it is the ultimate plan of redemption and the will of the Holy Father.

Therefore beloved, it is time to introspect where we stand. First and foremost, is Jesus our Lord? Are we walking according to the will of the Almighty? Have we put His plans on the top of our priority list? Are we seeking His holy kingdom and His righteousness first? With this in mind, let us ask Jesus to set right us and guide us to walk in the will of the Living God. Especially, all for His glory sake in Jesus matchless name. Amen.
