Good Hard Work
Use your hands for good hard work.
… use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.
Blessed brothers and sisters in Christ, warm wishes and greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus!
The above subject verse (Ephesians 4:28) calls for good works. The works not for the sake of the world, but for the glory of the living God. Surely, the good hard work and generous giving done in the way of the Lord pleases the Almighty. Jesus said, what we do for the needy be done in a secret way. This practice of giving to the needy is not meant for others to see and also it is no good in the sight of the living God. Let everything be done in such a way that it is known only to God and ourselves. Otherwise, it is akin to the practices of the hypocrites who does for the public honor. The following verse from the book of Matthew puts before us our Lord’s words.
But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
Matthew 6:3 NIV
The Bible says, those who plan what is good always find love and faithfulness. The life that we live on this earth is very short, compared to the life that is ahead in the eternity. Therefore brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. For it is certainly the will of the Heavenly Father that we do good and righteous things.
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.
Ecclesiastes 3:12 NIV
Finally beloved, let us be generous in every way. Let us bring glory to the living God by leading a life according to His divine plans. In Jesus precious and matchless name be everything done. Amen.
