Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, warm wishes and hearty greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus!
The subject verse (Psalm 119:9) touches a very important topic for us to think upon. Yes, this is very necessary for each one of us to evaluate. So, as the verse asks, how can we stay on the path of purity? Especially, how can an young person keep himself away from sin? For an young person is always in conflict with the bodily wishes and temptations. How can he stay on the path of purity? Can you and I evade committing sin? How can we be holy from the inside to the outside? Moreover, Holy not according to the world, but according to the Almighty God?
The answer for the above is clearly given in the verse itself. That is, by living according to word of God. Truly, to live in the path of purity we need to live according to the word of God. To live according involves a true commitment. We need to seek God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. Moreover, we need to meditate on His word and keep it in our hearts. God’s word should sink in our hearts for effective use in our daily lives. As the Psalmist says, God’s word is like a lamp to our feet. We can walk in the lighted path when we have the word of the Almighty God in us.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

Finally brethren, it is very clear that it is not by our own strength or by our own ability. We can stay on the path of purity, only by living according to the Word of God, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
