Commit to the Lord
Commit to the Lord whatever you do.
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Beloved Brothers and Sisters! Warm wishes and greetings in the mighty and matchless name of Lord Jesus Christ!
It is no wonder that the author of the above subject verse (Proverbs 16:3) clearly understands what it takes to be successful. Although it is not his wisdom that he has put, but what God gave. This is absolutely an open secret which is for everybody; for we are all the children of God. Above all, God is impartial and He is accessible to everyone who seeks Him.
The author boldly asks us to commit all our works to the Lord. For God will establish our plans. How often do we put God first in all things? Are we seeking His presence and blessings in all our works? Most importantly, are we seeking His will, with regard to the job we are trying to do?
Dear brethren, as the children of God we ought to check first our longings / plans? Are they, the will of the Heavenly Father? Do the Scriptures agree with our plans? Most importantly are we asking in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ? Jesus clearly said to ask everything in His name as in the below verse:
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:13 NIV
Finally, it is clear from the Scriptures that to establish our plans, we need to séek and submit to the Lord first. Also, we can never make God to bless us to do bad or harm others. Let all those things that we seek God bring glory to His matchless name. Above all let everything be done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
