Our refuge and strength is the almighty God.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
God is our sanctuary. Truly, for the children of the Almighty, this is the way of life. Lord Jesus, through whom the heavens and the earth were created is so near to us that He now resides in us as we are His dwelling place. Yes, this is the truth that every child of God is cognizant of. The omnipotent and omniscient God dwelt among us in flesh and blood around two thousand years ago and now He dwells in us as the Spirit. Indeed our shelter and strength is in us and in our midst. Amen.
