Go to the Lord

Go to the Lord for help.

Even strong lions get weak and hungry, but those who go to the Lord for help will have every good thing.

Psalms 34:10 ERV.

Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ, warm wishes and greetings!

The Lion is said to be the King of jungle. The most strong, ferocious and always in reach of its prey or food. The most strongest are the young lions for they possess both the speed and strength. They have what they set to kill. Therefore they never lack food. The Psalmist in the subject verse (Psalms 34:10) says even those younger and stronger lions may get weak and hunger for food. But those who depend upon the Almighty shall lack nothing.

Beloved, it is very true that those who depend upon their own strength, abilities or talents maybe successful for few times. But, it will be apparent that their reliance upon their own strength would not last long. Like the lions they may get weak and also they may even lack the dire necessities. But those who go to the Lord for help will have every good thing. Yes, the children of God who’s trust and faith is in the Lord shall lack nothing. For the Scriptures say that every good and perfect thing comes from the Father above.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

James 1:17 NIV

In Jesus’ matchless name

Therefore beloved brothers and sisters, let us change our way of living. Let God be first in all things in our lives. Rather than asking people for help, let us ask God first. For He will help us according to His plans. He may or may not use others for helping you. Most importantly, let us put our every request in the mighty and matchless of Lord Jesus Christ and believe that we have received. The verses below reflect what has been stated.

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

John 16:24 NIV

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:24 NIV

In Jesus mighty and precious name alone be everything done. Amen.
