Restore health

God will restore health to you.

… I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord …

Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV

For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord , ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.” ’ Jeremiah 30:17 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/jer.30.17.NKJV

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus!

Through the subject verse (Jeremiah 30:17) God, speaks to us with His abundant grace and mercy. The promises of the Living God never fail. Certainly, the promise of restoration, gets established in those who turn to Him. From the context of the verse, we know that it is about the restoration of Israel from their captivity. The author paints the state of Israel akin to an injured and sick person, waiting eagerly for the restoration of his health.

Beloved, our God is slow to anger but great in mercy as the following verse says.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

Psalms 103:8 NKJV

For our Lord is greater than any of those health issues or problems. He is able to restore health of all who seek Him. Very importantly, as the above verse says, the almighty God is merciful to those who turn to Him. Moreover, we ourselves go away from Him, by virtue of our sinful living. Even more, we cease to have the protection of His righteous hand because of our transgressions and abominations, But when we repent and turn to the all merciful God, He definitely binds up our wounds and heals us. As the following verse says:

Come, let us return to the Lord . He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.

Hosea 6:1 NIV

Let us not trouble our hearts, but lean on the omnipotent God. Unlike other gods who do not listen or speak; our God is a living God. He listens to our cries and supplications. Our Lord is compassionate and greatly loves us. Therefore beloved, let us fully turn to Him and be restored mentally, physically and above all spiritually. In Jesus matchless name. Amen.
