Rivers of living water
Lord Jesus is the fountain of living water.
Whoever believes in ME, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

First things first, do you know Jesus? From the verses preceeding the above verse, it is evident that the people knew the earthly whereabouts of Jesus and therefore did not consider Him to be the Messiah (John 7:27). For they believed that no-one will know where He (Messiah) is from. Although everything concerning Him is revealed in the scriptures, yet people are blinded. Are we in the same kind of blindness to recognise the Lord? Do we still doubt the divinity of Lord Jesus? In the passage ahead, Jesus says to those unbelieving people that they do not know the God who sent Him. And if anyone rejects Jesus, then it is apparent that he rejects the almighty God also. But whoever believes in the Son of God has a precious gift from above. Lord Jesus himself called all those who are thirsty to come and drink from Him. As the scripture says, he who believes in Him will have the rivers of living water flow from within. The rivers of the living water is nothing but the Spirit of God that all who believe in Lord Jesus will recieve from the Heavenly Father. So beloved, let us be patient and persevere in hope, in all our godly endeavours. In Jesus name. Amen.
