All the glory and praises be to the living God!

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, a warm welcome to this page!

The above subject verse is made by an important person in respect of the Messiah. Yes the Messiah for whom the world was waiting. Notably that person is none other than John the Baptist. John, who couldn’t contain the joy of the presence of the Lord, even when both were in the wombs of their respective mothers. Most importantly, John was the messenger who was sent ahead of the Messiah.

For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord ; Make His paths straight.’ ”

Matthew 3:3 NKJV

The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord ; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.

Isaiah 40:3 NKJV

John the Baptist’s life fulfilled the Scriptures according to Isaiah 40:3 and Matthew 3:3. Very importantly, He was the voice crying out in the wilderness to prepare the way for the Lord. He was the one in the likes of Prophet Elijah, who was supposed to come before the Messiah. Although people were counting John the Baptist as a greater Prophet, he never shied to say the truth about Jesus, the Messiah. Even more God revealed about His Son, Jesus to John and made him the forerunner. Certainly, Most noteworthy  is that John’s life wholly revolved around the Lord, who is the One to come after him. Furthermore, He righteously testified about Jesus and considered himself unworthy. Unworthy to even stoop down and loosen the straps of the Lord’s sandals. With humility, he glorified the Lord.

Jesus is the way

Therefore brethren, let us also be like John, in recognizing the Lord’s omnipotence and proclaim Jesus as the life, the truth and the only way to God. Amen.
