Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ !

Beloved brethren, warm wishes and hearty greetings in the precious name of our Lord. The subject verse from the book of Deuteronomy is a great source of strength to the fearful souls. The verse was spoken to the Israelites in the context of their upcoming war with the Canaanites. Though the enemy were more in numbers, the God’s chosen people were asked to be faithful to the God. For He is the God who had done wonders and miracles in their midst. And He is the one who brought them from the Egyptian captivity. Now their faithfulness to the commandments of God would decide the outcome of war.

Without a doubt, I am sure that many of us would have experienced the same situation(s) in our lives. We would have seen God delivering us from many a great troubles and problems. Even the Almighty might have done miracles that were difficult to explain. Yet, when the time comes to meet another hurdle head on, we go weak on the knees.

If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

Dear brothers and sisters, the Holy Scriptures assures the mighty presence of our Lord with us. Surely, the Lord our God is the one who goes with us and fights against our enemy. And He gives us victory over the enemy. Therefore beloved, as the following verse says, “If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”.

‘What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? ‘

Romans 8:31

Finally brethren, let us set God before ourselves and be faithful to His commands. When we lean on Him and not rely on ourselves, He shall give us victory over the enemy. All the glory be the Almighty Heavenly Father in Jesus’ matchless and precious name. Amen.
