All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name!

The subject verse from the Epistle to Hebrews boils down to doing the will of God in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. From the context, it is clear that it is addressed to the whole congregation. The God of peace makes us perfect for we are the sheep of the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Yes, the Almighty God makes us complete in every good work so that we do His will. We are not only to do the perfect will of God individually but also collectively as the body of Christ.

Jesus is quintessential to connect with God

Most importantly, it is God who is working in us. As the scripture says, He is working in us to do what is well pleasing in His sight. Above all it is done in the precious name of His Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. For Jesus is our Lord, to whom we have submitted to do the will of the Heavenly Father. It is equally important to remember that we on our own can never be able to fulfill the will of God. Presence or absence of Jesus in our lives marks our walk in the will of God. Jesus is quintessential for humanity to connect with the Almighty God. And the Bible says, Jesus is the only way, the truth and the life.

‘Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. ‘

Hebrews 12:28 NKJV

Brethren, as the flock of the Great Shepherd, let us be thankful and worshiping him with reverence and awe. As the above verse says, we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken. Furthermore, we serve God by doing the will of the Holy Father. Therefore, we shall continue to live our lives centered on Jesus as He perfects us to do the will of the Living God. All the glory be to His mighty and matchless name. Amen.
