Glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name !

Let not your hearts be troubled – these are the comforting words from the Lord for the troubled disciples. The context of the verse revolves around Jesus comforting his disciples. The disciples were perplexed, when Jesus revealed them the things that are going to happen. Jesus told them about his forthcoming betrayal, Peter’s denial of Christ, scattering of the disciples and his Crucifixion. Even though Jesus told the disciples about the cross, they could not understand the ultimate plan of God. Their future without Jesus was unthinkable to them. Jesus knew that their hearts were troubled. So, He comforted them with the revelation about the heavenly places and his ultimate return to take them back.

Believe in Jesus

Jesus asked the disciples to trust Him as they trust the Heavenly Father. The Bible asks all to honor Jesus as they honor the Heavenly Father. In summary, the Father is honored and worshiped in Christ alone.

‘that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.’

John 5:23

Therefore, we should believe in the Son of God who gave himself for our sake. Yes, we are to put all our faith and trust in Him who has the power to either condemn us or give us life eternal. Furthermore, there is no alternate path to the Holy Father. For the Bible says, Jesus is the only way to the Holy Father.

‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ‘

John 14:6

Finally beloved, let us not lower our guard but continue to believe in our Lord and Savior. Stay blessed and be comforted in His love, grace and mercy. Amen.
