Knowledge of His Will

Be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

All the glory and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus Christ’s precious and matchless name !

The subject verses are from the epistle of Paul to the believers of Colossae. Though the context revolves around those Colossians, nonetheless, it applies to all of us. Moreover, it is very important for every believer to know the will of God and accomplish what is asked off us in our lifetimes. It is very important that we seek God the Holy Father to reveal His will in Jesus Christ’s precious name. And by the Holy Spirit we get the spiritual wisdom and understanding. Furthermore, the spiritual wisdom and understanding enables us to get filled with the knowledge of God’s will.

Bearing Fruit

We on our own strength can never walk worthy of Lord. But when we yield to the Spirit of God, he shall lead us in the righteous path bringing glory to the Almighty God. The life that our Lord Jesus Christ lived on this earth tells us the manner of walk we need to do. Yes, we are to walk in a fully pleasing and worthy way in the sight of the Almighty God. Our every work shall be done with full sincerity, truth and in honor of the Almighty God. In doing so, we shall reap good fruits thereby bringing glory to the Living God.

Brethren, if our walk is according to the world then it shall surely lead us to the broader path of damnation. But the righteous path which is according to the will of God, shall lead us to His Holy Kingdom. Maybe, God’s path might look narrow or crooked, but it gives us the eternal life with God. Therefore, let us seek the knowledge of God’s will and walk accordingly in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
