I Love Your Law

How I love your law!

Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.

Psalms 119:97 NIV

Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Psalms 119:97 NIV https://psalm.bible/psalm-119-97

All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus precious name !

The Psalmist here brings before us his love for the God’s law. And out of his love for the law, he meditates on it all the day long. For God’s law is just not a set instructions, but the law reflects the character and the heart of the Almighty God. The laws definitely shows us what God wants from us. For God is holy and righteous, His laws shows us where we stand in His sight.

God’s law is our spiritual mirror

Every child of God shall never neglect to meditate upon the law of God. For these set of instructions sets us right with the Living God. Just like a mirror shows us our physical body condition, the law of the Lord shows our spiritual body condition. Although our works are in the physical realm, but they affect our spiritual self. The Bible says that the Living God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit. Certainly, the law of the God is given to show our spiritual condition with respect to God.

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

John 4:24 NIV

Jesus is the only way to salvation

As the Psalmist says, let us hasten and not delay to obey His commands. And meditate upon the laws, day and night. So that our inner self fully yield to become in the likeness of how God wants. But following only the rules shall not give us the salvation of God. For Jesus alone is the way to our salvation. By following Jesus, we obey the God’s laws. Otherwise, it is difficult to keep all the laws of the Almighty God. As the Bible says, if we truly love Him, we shall obey His commandments. The love of Christ shall strengthen us in our walk of life.

“If you love me, keep my commands.

John 14:15 NIV

Therefore brethren, love the Lord and fully submit to Him. Thereby the Holy Spirit of God shall guide us in all things of our lives. And even while meditating upon the word of God. In Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
