Fear Not Little Flock

Fear not, little flock.

‘ “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. ‘

Luke 12:32 ESV

All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name!

The subject verse is part of the Lord Jesus’ words of comfort to the worried people. Importantly, it is concerned with the citizenship of the Holy Kingdom of God. Jesus addresses them as the little flock. For indeed are the few who are willing to be part of His flock and very much like to be led by the Lord. They follow the Lord obediently and surrender to His care. And they certainly are the ones who belong to His kingdom.

Beware of those who hinder

The word of God says to His children not to fear regarding His kingdom. For there are so many who call themselves as the experts of the law and preach contrary to the word of God. Instead of leading the people to the Lord’s kingdom, but they obstruct the path of the seekers. As the following verse says, they themselves do not enter but also hinder those who are entering.

‘Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.” ‘

Luke 11:52 ESV

Adoption as sons of God

The Heavenly Father granted to the mankind the most precious gift — His Son, Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says that, “God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son.” Truly, out of His immense love, He gave His Son as the Sacrificial Lamb to atone us from our sins. Very importantly, through Jesus Christ, He predestined us for the adoptions as sons.

‘having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, ‘

Ephesians 1:5 NKJV

Brethren, let us not fear the words of people who are a hindrance as stated above. But be holy and blameless in the sight of the Living God. For it is indeed the good pleasure of the Living God to give us His kingdom. Therefore, let us always walk in the will of the Heavenly Father in Jesus’ precious and matchless name. Amen.
