From Him and Through Him
From Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
‘ For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen.’
All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus’ matchless name!
The subject chapter from Apostle Paul’s epistle to the Romans reviews Israel’s past, present and future. And the subject verse concludes what is truth and glorifies the Almighty God. Here, Paul is attributing the glory to the one God of both the Israelites and the gentiles. To be precise, the one God for the whole mankind. Yes, God is one God who exists in three co-eternal divine Persons — God the Holy Father, God the Holy Son, Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit.
‘All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. ‘
John 1:3 ESV
God is our only source of salvation
From the above verse, we know that Jesus our Lord is the Creator. As all the creation is made through Him and without Him nothing was made. And the subject verse could also draw parallel to the above verse while referring to “all things”. But the subject verse is also interpreted in the following way by many of the Bible commentators. From the subject chapter it is clear that Paul is talking about salvation. Rightfully, the referred “all things” in the subject verse could also be God’s plan of salvation. Therefore, the subject verse could mean that salvation is from God, i.e., God is the only source of our salvation.
Precious blood of Jesus Christ
As the following below verse says, God paid a ransom to save all of us. The righteous God, took the sins of the mankind and put them on His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And Jesus bore our sins on the Cross and shed His holy blood to wash our sins. Moreover, we were made righteous in the sight of the Almighty God.
‘For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. ‘
1 Peter 1:18-19 NLT
Therefore, the Omnipotent, Omniscient and the Omnipresent God is worthy to receive all our praises and honor. And to Him, be all the glory. The shed blood of Jesus was paid for you and me. We shall be ever thankful to God the Holy Father and glorify the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
