Bear One Another
Bear one another’s burdens.
‘Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. ‘
All the glory, praises and honor be to the Omnipotent God in Jesus’ precious name!
The subject verse from the Paul’s epistle to Galatians brings before us a significant aspect of bearing one another’s burden. It says that by carrying each other’s burden we fulfill the law of Christ. Many believe that the following two commandments mentioned in the below verses could be the stated law of Christ. It is evident that It is all about love. To be precise it is about “loving the God” and “loving our neighbor“.
‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” ‘
Mark 12:30-31 ESV
If we truly love God the most, then we shall also love our neighbor like ourselves. Moreover, the scriptures say that anyone who loves is born of God and knows God, while those who do not love does not know God. Yes, if we love God, then we shall also abide to His commandments. Our Lord clearly gave us a new commandment to love one another. Furthermore, He asked us to show love for one another, just as He showed His love for us.
‘A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. ‘
John 13:34 ESV
Therefore, when our love for the Lord and the love for our neighbor is true, then we shall bring glory to the Almighty God by carrying each other’s burden. And truly, we fulfill the law of Christ and be blessed.
In Jesus’ matchless and mighty name alone. Amen.
