Give me life according to your promise.
Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise!
All the glory, praises and honor be to the Wondrous Living God in Jesus’ precious name!
From the subject verse, it is evident that the Psalmist is petitioning to the Lord to plead his cause. Everyone whose hope is in the Lord, shall never put their trust in man. For it may be impossible to man, but everything is possible with God. The Psalmist’s prayer to the Lord shows us the same confidence in the Lord our God. For our Savior is our Lord Jesus Christ. When the righteous children of the Almighty go through their trials and afflictions, He comes to the aid of them. Yes, the scriptures clearly mentions God’s promise of deliverance.
and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”Psalms 50:15 NLT
As the above scripture says, we are to call upon the Lord in our day of trouble. Though it does not mean that we shall call upon God only in our times of trouble, but at all the times. The ‘at all the times’ means a relationship that is continual and greater than any other relationship. As the Bible says, loving the God most and submitting to His will shall be our primary focus. Then He shall give us life that He has promised.
In Jesus’ matchless and mighty name be blessed. Amen.
