New Covenant

This is the new covenant I will make with my people.

“This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord : I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.”

Hebrews 10:16‭-‬17 NLT

Praises, honor and majesty be to the Almighty Heavenly father in Jesus’ precious name !

The subject verses from the Epistle to the Hebrews references to what is written in chapter 31 of the Book of Jeremiah. Unlike the previous covenant what God made with Israelites, this new covenant comes from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Almighty God. Moreover, this sacrifice is offered once for all and for the whole humanity. Very importantly, this covenant is sealed by Jesus’ blood that was shed on the Calvary Cross. Truly, this covenant is applicable to all who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The presence of Lord the Holy Spirit shall testify us about the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Even more, we shall submit and surrender to the will of the Living God. Moreover, He shall put in us the laws in our hearts and also writes them in our minds. Therefore, we shall not fear any confusion, but move ahead with his confidence.

Salvation by grace

As the second verse says, the Almighty God shall never remember our sins and iniquities. For all our sins and iniquities are cleansed by the blood of our Lord Jesus. Every believer who have given their hearts and spirits to the Son of God shall receive his divine grace. As the following verse says, we are saved by His divine grace alone which comes when we believe the Son. Moreover, this salvation is not received by the work of our hands, but it is a gift from God.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. ‘

Ephesians 2:8-9

Therefore brethren, let us turn to Jesus Christ and wash all our sins, transgressions, iniquities and abominations in the blood that He shed on the Calvary Cross. And be saved to be with the Almighty God in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
