And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name!

The subject verse brings before us the Almighty God’s promised good work in His people. Although the context of the verse is of the Old Testament times, but it is applicable to us who belong to the Begotten Son of God, Lord Jesus. Many of us might be demoralized of our current situations or feel unworthy of receiving any favor from God. Definitely, sin and unrighteous are the primary sources that make us feel unworthy. We by ourselves, could never make right with God. But the one who has the power to cleanse and make us right with God is our Lord Jesus Christ. And those who turn to Him and repent of their sins shall be cleansed by His blood that was shed on the Calvary Cross.

The Holy Spirit of God

As the verse says, He puts His Spirit in all of us, so that we have one heart and one way. And by that we shall reverently fear the Almighty God forever. As the following verse says, our fear of the Lord is good for us and our children.

then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.

Jeremiah 32:39 NKJV

Moreover, when the Holy Spirit of God resides in us, He shall lead us in the perfect will of the Almighty God. As the subject verse says, we shall follow all His decrees and abide in His rules. For His Spirit shall always correct us whenever we try to deviate from the path of righteousness. Therefore, let us abide in the Lord and follow the path that He leads us in the will of the Heavenly Father.

Finally, heed to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God and be blessed in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
