Ransom for all

Jesus Christ is the ransom for all.

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

Beloved brothers and sisters, greetings in the mighty and matchless name of Lord Jesus Christ!

The Bible says that the God is one. And He eternally exists in three distict persons. Therefore, our God is triune and is usually referred as the Trinity. The distinct persons are God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Although we are not going to discuss the Trinity, but we are going to look at God the Son. Google and see for yourself; there are lot of genuine sites from where you can know about the Trinity. You may visit https://www.theopedia.com/trinity for the doctrine of Trinity. Most importantly, beware of those sites where the information is twisted and wrongly presented. And also neither do I vouch for Theopedia. Check for consistency with the given word of God – the Bible.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. According to the verses I Timothy 2:5‭-‬6, Lord Jesus is the only Mediator between God and men. Although Jesus is the Son of God, He came down into this world in flesh. Many a times, Jesus referred Himself as the Son of man. He chose to be identified among the men. Therefore, Jesus is both divine and human.

Christ Jesus lived for more than 33 years and accomplished the will of the Heavenly Father. The life of absolute righteousness and integrity showed to the world the way of living the life in God’s will. Although He too was tempted like us, but He never succumbed to the weaknesses and temptations of the flesh. Jesus submitted fully to the will of the Heavenly Father even when it seemed very difficult to go the way of cross. Moreover He offered Himself as the ransom for the whole mankind. The Blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse us from our sins. Jesus conquered the grave for us and ascended to the Holy Kingdom. Most importantly, He is at the right hand of God, interceding for you and me.

So bless His mighty Name for ever and ever. Amen.
