Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, warm welcome and greetings in Jesus’ matchless name.

The above word of God (Colossians 4:6) is from the letters, Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in the city of Colossae. The said verse is part of the instructions Paul gave to the Colossians to proclaim the mystery of Christ. The most important part of any interaction, especially with the non-believers is the way we talk or engage in conversation with them.

As Paul says, let us conduct our conversations in courteous and pleasant manner. Most importantly, it is not something to do once or twice, but at all the times. For it is the Lord whom we represent. Furthermore, as Paul emphatically says, let our speech be seasoned with salt. Yes, like how we use salt in our daily lives for enhancing / enriching the food and as a preservative. Therefore, by speaking with grace and seasoning with salt maybe put in the following way. To only use the right and the most appropriate words whereby the message of Christ is fully preserved. Moreover, what we speak should always confirm the written word of God.

Seek God for Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding

The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.

Proverbs 15:4

Therefore beloved, as the above verse says, let our tongues be like a tree of life. Let the word of God be presented to all, in the right way for the glory of the Almighty. Finally, let us seek God to fully equip us with the knowledge, wisdom and understanding. And let us answer all the questions for the glory of God in the mighty and precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
