Knew You

I Knew you, before I formed you in the womb.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Jeremiah. 1:5 NIVUK.

Dear brothers and sisters, greetings and warm wishes in the living name of Lord Jesus Christ!

What an awesome and wonderful God we have! He is the living God and the author of all creation. Some religions attribute our life and future to the ‘karma‘ or fate. According to which our future or the state of our current life is directly related to our actions in the current or previous existence respectively. Unlike those who believe in karma, our lives are not left to fate. Here is the almighty God who loves us and assures us that our birth is not by chance and left to fate; but beautifully crafted to fit His grand design. Truly our God is a loving God. His love is immeasurable.

As the scripture says in Jeremiah 1:5, He knows us even before He formed us in the womb. Likewise, He knew us from the roots. He knows our each and every aspect, than what we know about ourselves. We may try to conceal about ourselves, but nothing is hidden from the omnipotent God who made us. Above all, He perfectly crafted us for His glory sake. Maybe you think that you are not made beautiful or handsome or maybe differently abled; it is for a reason why we look the way we are. Rather, it is our duty to the seek Lord the purpose for which He brought us into this world. Remember, we are absolutely beautiful in the sight of God no matter how we look. As God looks our hearts, not our outer appearance; we need to keep our hearts beautiful in the sight of God.

Set apart for God’s glory and His will.

Furthermore, even before we were born we were set apart. He set us apart for a specific purpose. The purpose that precisely fits in His grand plan for humanity. Yes, we may not see the larger picture, but you and I are perfectly placed at the perfect time and space to do His absolutely perfect will. Yes, our days are mere hand-breadths. Therefore brethren, let us put ourselves for His glorious service with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. In Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
