Store word of God in your heart.
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
In the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ, greetings to you!
The word of God is our real treasure. Nothing can shake us off from this true peace of information. From the Psalm 119:11, it is evident that the author has deep reverence for the word of God. The word is received in faith and well received into his heart. Furthermore, it shows how the author has treasured and imbibed the word. Also lived his life according to that word. Certainly, it shows us the way to treat and live the word of God.
Knowing and memorising the word of God is to be complimented fully by its application in our lives. When you are armed with word of God, you have a larger purpose. The purpose is to make you stronger and not allow you to succumb to sin. Satan’s ploy is to make you sin against the God. When you use the God’s word against satan and sin, then you are bound to stay in the course that is set by God. Remember, one or two verses from Bible is not sufficient. But continually seek and submit to God and daily meditate on His word.
May the God’s presence be with all of us in Lord Jesus’ name. Amen.
