All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus’ precious name!

The subject verse from the Paul’s epistle to Philemon is both a thanksgiving and a prayer to the Lord. From the words of Paul, it is clear that we need to put into action the generosity that comes from our faith. Being kind and generous not just in words but in deeds out of love for the Lord. Even more, it is paramount for our faith to be perfected by growing in the knowledge of God. The following verse from Paul’s letter to Ephesians also makes it clear the importance of growing in the knowledge of God.

‘asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. ‘

Ephesians 1:17 NLT

Pass on the good things

When we get to understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ, we shall also make them available to others. Yes, we should generously pass on the good things to others for the glory of the Lord. As Paul says, by doing that we shall refresh the hearts of God’s people. The pristine love of Christ which we continually receive and experience is also meant for those who are broken-hearted. As the children of God, we are to direct those broken-hearted to Christ who is the Prince of Peace.

Therefore, let us do what it takes to glorify the Almighty God. Very importantly, let us share all the good things that we ourselves are continually receiving. Let us share the love of Christ to all our brothers and sisters all around the world.

Be blessed in Jesus’ mighty and matchless name. Amen.
