The Lord Corrects

The Lord corrects those he loves.

For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.

All the glory, praises and honor be to the Holy Father in Jesus’ precious name!

The subject verse from the Book of Proverbs brings before us an important lesson for every child of God. Also, it is equally important for every father and child to understand the heart of God. The love of God transcends above all and everything that exists in this world. His love is pure, impartial and unconditional. There is nothing that we can ever do to increase or decrease His love. And this is most precious and unique quality of our God. For there is no other god or religion that says anything in the likeness of our God

Immeasurable and unconditional love of God

God loves everyone, even the sinners. Though He hates the sin, but would not want to lose His children to it. Out of His love, He corrects those who go astray. Just like how an earthly father corrects his children, The Living God does discipline all those in whom He delights. The immeasurable love of God always wants us to be wise in our living or in making our choices. Akin to a father who wants his children to choose the best and what is good; our Heavenly Father wants us to follow the righteous path of His Begotten Son. For the way of the Lord leads us to the eternity with the Holy Father.

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

Proverbs 13:24 NLT

As the above verse says, those who hate their children would not take up the rod of discipline. And those who really love their children shall discipline them so that they walk in wisdom and in righteousness of God. As the Scriptures says, “happy is the man whom God corrects“. Therefore, let us fully trust the Lord in all our testing times and be thankful and happy when He corrects us.

Be blessed in Jesus’ mighty and matchless name. Amen.
