Walk with wise

Walk with wise.

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.

Proverbs 13:20 ESV

Praise the Lord! Loving greetings in the mighty and matchless name of Lord Jesus Christ!

It is no rocket science to make out what the verse in Proverbs 13:20 says. We are more or less like the people with whom we walk. Naturally we tend to do everything the way those people do. Certainly our thinking and behaviour do inherently align to the group or individual with whom we live the most.

The question here is not something to do with leading life. Neither it is about being content about the good life that we presume we are leading. But it is about the true Christian life. The life full of love and compassion; righteous and humble in our walk of life. When we are deep rooted in some of these ingredients of godly life; we rightly identify and seek the company of wise. We not only seek, but also lead others in the path of righteousness which is definitely a wise thing to do. We are responsible to God for the life we are leading ourselves and as well as others.

As the Scriptures according to Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction“. Therefore brethren, do not despise wisdom but long for the Lord to do His work in our lives. There is no doubt, only fools avoid God and His wisdom. The broad path of hell is what seems good to those blinded sinners. Therefore, let us walk with the wise and become wise. If it is the company of fools you are stuck with, then it is time to say goodbye.

In Jesus’ priceless name all the glory to the living God. Amen.
