Freedom

Freedom that Christ has set us free.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Blessed brothers and sisters in Christ, warm wishes and greetings!

As we all know, sin in any form is a transgression and rebellion against the God. Sin makes us naked. As the Bible says in Genesis 3:8-10, both Adam and Eve sinned, they realised that they are naked and went into hiding. When God called Adam, he replied that he was afraid because he was naked. Likewise when we commit any sin, then we too are under the covers of nakedness. Any naked person is a caged being. Therefore, no freedom to walk in the same kind of boldness and in integrity. As the almighty living God hates the sin but not the mankind, He gave up Himself, the most holy and the only way. Yes, so as to atone us from our own sins, He offered Himself on the Calvary Cross.

By the death of Jesus on the cross, the death was conquered. Our sins were cleansed by the very blood He shed on the cross. We all are liberated by this very sacrifice of God. Yes, now this freedom is available for all who believe in Jesus Christ and His death by cross, His resurrection, His ascension and in His second coming. There is no other way or shortcut to Heaven. Jesus is the only and one way. Finally, let us accept Him as our Saviour by repenting our sins and cleansing ourselves in the blood that He shed for us. We are freed from the clutches of sin and liberated to live a life that glorifies the living God. In Jesus matchless name. Amen.
