God is my source of Strength

Maybe my mind and body will become weak, but God is my source of strength. He is mine forever!

Warm wishes and greetings in the mighty and matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Dear brothers and sisters, the worldly life is full of ups and downs; if not a cakewalk. Certainly, successes and failures, griefs and sorrows, sicknesses and diseases practically exists in everyone’s lives. Those who are weak in body and mind are undoubtedly the early victims. It is very difficult for the weak ones to remove themselves from the clutches of despair, hopelessness, sorrow, sickness or any other distress. Putting our faith on people or things may seem the best option. But they may not be successful or the results may not be permanent all the times. But there are people who in all their hopelessness have come out in full vigour. They are those who claim God as their source of strength.

Jesus is our source of strength.

In the same way as the Psalmist who proclaims (Psalm 73:26) that God as the source of his strength, let us also do the same. By doing so, we profess our faith in our Lord Jesus who is our only Saviour. Therefore, let us claim our Lord Jesus in full faith as our Lord and God for eternity. Let us open the doors of our heart to the living God and allow Him to reign over us. The almighty God is our strength and refuge. No sicknesses and diseases has any dominion over us. Furthermore, Jesus took our sicknesses, he bore our pains and by his wounds we are healed. Very Importantly, by His stripes we are healed according to Isaiah 53:5:

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

My friend, put all sources of your concern on Jesus; not only sicknesses, anxieties or burdens. Our Lord is waiting for you to turn to Him. Let Jesus enter the gates your heart. He already did everything for you to overcome. In the first place, it is your turn to acknowledge our Saviour and accept Him as your Lord. Allow His mighty works to be done in your life. In Jesus’ name alone. Amen.
