While we were still sinners

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Dear brothers and sisters, warm welcome and greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

From His written word, the Bible, God revealed Himself to us. And the most prominent attribute of God that is visible to us is His love. Whether you believe it or not, we live by His love and grace. Have you ever thought of God’s love ? In the first place, the purity and magnitude of His love is unfathomable. It is more important to know that God is love. Truly, His love is immeasurable, for He himself is love.

We are God’s chosen of all the creation, for He created us in His own image. His love for the mankind is unconditional. Even though, we rebelled and sinned against God, He did not subject us to righteous judgement. God’s judgement calls for eternal condemnation of mankind. By virtue of His love, He provisioned us an escape through His begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Although it was an escape for us who are the chief and vilest sinners; God afflicted Himself with the punishment in place of us, Therefore, while we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us on the Cross. By this act on the Calvary Cross, God demonstrated His own love for us.

God is love

Beloved, the Bible says, whoever does not love, does not know God. It is because God is love. His love is all around. We continue to exist by His love. Because, He first loved us, we love. Therefore, let us make ourselves live in God and God in us by the way of love, as said according to the below verse.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

1 John 4:16 NIV

All the glory and praises be to the Living God. In Jesus’ precious name may you all live in love for the glory of the omnipotent God. Amen.
