One Offering
By one offering, God has perfected forever those who are being made holy.
For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, greetings and warm wishes!
When God made man, He made in his own image; a perfect being. Man rebelled and sinned against God. Therefore, the sins of the mankind overshadowed the perfectness which God gave. Certainly, the mankind flaunts the dark stains of the sins. The subject verse (Hebrews 10:14) tells us how God made us perfect by sacrificing His own begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, the Almighty God perfected forever all those who are being sanctified. The perfection is through one absolute offering that nobody other than God himself could make. Truly, this is the offering of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus who came down in flesh, holy, perfect and sinless is the most precious gift for the mankind. As the following scripture says, He offered Himself once for all.
Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Hebrews 9:26
Therefore, the Omnipotent God now sees us to be perfect through our redeemer, Lord Jesus Christ. All our imperfectness are covered by the blood of Jesus that was shed for us on the cross. Finally brethren, let us seek to be holy in the sight of God by fully turning to Jesus Christ our Lord. And fully submit to the will of the Heavenly Father in Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
