Live in God’s presence

God’s presence is the key to live a righteous and upright life.

Surely the righteous will praise your name, and the upright will live in your presence.

Psalm 140:13 NIV

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, warm wishes and greetings to you!

Very importantly the above verse (Psalms 140:13) contains two such synonymous words, righteous and upright, which we find too often in the Bible. Both the words do have subtle differences. From the said verse, we could find the spiritual differences by the way the Scripture refers them. As the verse says, the righteous will praise the Name of the Lord. Moreover, righteousness is one such quality that God wants us to seek from Him along with His kingdom. As the below vese says:

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 ESV

God’s presence is the key

Surely, as the verse says, those who walk in uprightness will live in God’s presence. Moreover, the upright will always fear God, but the fools despise Him. God’s presence is the key and the ultimate blessing for our lives. For the heart of the upright will be filled with joy because of the Almighty’s presence. Certainly, as the scripture says, the upright shall always have the light and sound wisdom. Moreover, God is a shield to those who walk in integrity.

He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,

Proverbs 2:7 ESV

Therefore beloved, let us check ourselves, the quality of our spiritual life. Are we righteous in the sight of God? Are we walking in uprightness? If not, let us seek the Living God to set right not only ourselves, but the whole of our house. As the Bible says, the house of the upright will flourish because of God’s presence.

The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.

Proverbs 14:11 NIV

All the glory be to the Living God in Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
